Inventory Clerk

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Inventory Clerk in Goleta, California. This role is crucial in the industry, where you will be responsible for managing and maintaining inventory records, as well as performing clerical duties and inventory audits. As an Inventory Clerk, you will also be involved in inventory analysis and answering inbound calls.Responsibilities: Oversee inventory counting and reconciliation processes to maintain accurate records. Respond to inbound calls, providing excellent customer service and assistance. Execute clerical duties, maintaining organization and efficiency in the workplace. Perform inventory audits, ensuring accuracy and identifying discrepancies. Manage records of assembled and tested components, documenting relevant details such as part number, revision, and performance characteristics. Submit reports of any issues, malfunctions, or defective parts to the appropriate authority. Ensure adherence to ESD rules and requirements at all times. Maintain a clean and organized work station and manufacturing area.Requirements Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating exceptional communication and customer service skills. Ability to perform clerical duties efficiently, including filing, typing, and maintaining records. Experience in equipment inventory, ensuring that all items are accurately accounted for. Strong analytical skills for inventory analysis, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions. Experience in conducting inventory audits, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring easy tracking and retrieval of items.
