Description We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our team in Palo Alto, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and updating inventory data, preparing standard work for system processes, training staff on system usage, and implementing improvement processes to reduce inventory and minimize costs. This role is onsite in Palo Alto, San Carlos, and Livermore CA. Must be able to work at all locations as needed.Responsibilities: Maintain and update inventory data on a regular basis to ensure accuracy Extract and analyze inventory data for efficient inventory management and root cause analysis Prepare standard work for all system processes related to inventory management or location usage Train frontline staff on handheld use and system usage in regard to their level of access and job code(s) Review inventory demand patterns, and inventory turns to establish optimum par levels for asset & expense supply locations Assist in the creation of new par location set up to ensure accuracy in the system Implement improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory and minimize cost across all supply locations Develop reports based on inventory par location utilization and metrics to report on a daily, weekly, & monthly basis Monitor all inventory issues and ensure effective resolution Prepare and audit daily cycle count processes and prepare reports for root cause analysis in regards to gaps Maintain work and break areas in a neat, clean, and organized condition Process all paperwork pertinent to applicable duties Respond to patient and non-patient emergencies according to policies and procedures and job requirements.Requirements Demonstrable skills in Inventory Analysis Proven experience with Inventory Controls Strong ability in Process Improvement Proficiency in using inventory software and databases Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Good physical condition, able to frequently lift and carry heavy items Detail-oriented with strong clerical skills Good communication and interpersonal abilities High school diploma or equivalent.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
