Inventory Coordinator

Openings Available: Two People

Work Location: On-site at 256 Technology Way, Rocklin, CA 95765

Compensation: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience

Benefits: Medical and Dental, company pays 80% (starts after a 3-month waiting period)

As a self-driven and motivated Inventory Coordinator with us, you’re comfortable working in an office and warehouse environment where you’ll be hands-on, as you work to handle test equipment inventory-related tasks and receiving, categorizing and documenting

Essential Functions

Responsible for receiving, sorting, categorization, and movement of test equipment from delivery to relocation in warehouse, covering a diverse selection of goods

Document placement and movement of test equipment in Fishbowl by manufacturer and model/serial/asset/part number and location

Physically place received items onto shelves, organized by product type, size, weight, and any special storage requirements

Complete daily cycle counts and provide a daily inventory report

Track outbound shipments and confirm receipt

Follow correct processes for COD, overnight, ground, and special handling of certain shipments

Recognize items by model number and distinguish items by options and detailed description

Lift, move, raise, and lower items following company safety training and procedures

On occasion, wipe/reformat hard drives to their original state

Sort and categorize different types of electronic waste.

Disassemble electronic devices to remove and recycle valuable components.

Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials according to local and federal regulations.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Record inventory and prepare reports on recycling progress.

Monitor recycling equipment for functionality and safety.

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

Experience with test equipment in any form related to inventory and warehouse

Hands-on experience in the waste management or recycling industry is typically required.

Familiarity with a variety of electronic devices and components.

Knowledge about the safe and effective handling of electronic waste.

Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel and Word

Experience with processes, and preparation of paperwork including shipping documentation and receipt using DHL, FEDEX, USPS and UPS online shipping tools for domestic and international shipments

Held an active forklift certification within the last 6 months with the ability to be recertified

Knows how to or ability to learn how to wipe a hard drive

Ability to lift, push and pull up packages and equipment up to 70 pounds

Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task

Preferred Qualifications

Fishbowl Inventory software experience

Inventory audit experience
