We enable digitalization in the business units by providing modern cloud applications, advanced analytics and AI, and support IT services.The IT Business Partner – Infrastructure position will align with the SI Electrical Products (EP) business to develop and implement business digitalization solutions. As a partner to the Business, you will focus on driving IT initiatives that support the EP business organizational goals and growth targets in the Pomona and La Mirada locations. The Business IT Partner will become familiar with the challenges and priorities of the assigned business and will be able to provide guidance and support in different functional areas focusing on manufacturing, plant, and warehousing processes.We are looking for a talented candidate with the ability to navigate and understand a diverse set of challenges faced by the EP business. You will partner with our business on a wide variety of IT related topics including, but not limited to: A. Global/regional platform implementation B. Application improvements C. IT infrastructure D. Cybersecurity compliance E. IT cost improvements and effective use of IT resources/tools. You will have the opportunity to apply your existing skills but also learn about the business processes and find ways to enable innovation and process improvement through technology. The position offers the opportunity to drive strategies and provide guidance/support to the business by utilizing agile methodologies and digital innovations. The Business IT Partner works directly with the SI IT Business Unit Leader and diverse business unit functions on innovation initiatives and process improvements via technology.You will make impact with the following responsibilities:

IT Partner/specialist to fully support the Pomona plant and La Mirada warehouse with all IT related topics with a focus on infrastructure.

Gain an understanding of the application landscape to assist and support end users.

Proactively engage with business unit stakeholders on opportunities and challenges facing the business.

Plan, drive, and manage demands and projects from beginning to end; engage with business unit stakeholders, drive scoping sessions, document requirements/key decisions, navigate a large network of providers, and support the overall execution of these demands.

Escalate major incidents to proper escalation paths, and manage incident through full closure, resolution, and root cause analysis report.

Facilitate meetings with both internal and external IT provider organizations to ensure quality and timely delivery and support.

Provide initial consultation on IT operational issues/opportunities, engage with the appropriate service providers, and ensure follow-up through closure of the issue.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IT equipment located in the Pomona and La Mirada site locations.

Maintain a flexible work schedule to coordinate support during non-standard hours.

Keep BU management and employees informed on IT strategies, key priorities, initiatives, and projects.

Communicate to end users on new tools and technologies that have been released from various internal IT service providers.

Engage, align, and share best practices with our global SI IT counterparts.

Ensure alignment of portfolio with business priorities and IT strategy.

Support the business requests for information whether it is for policy information, usage data, adoption data or project requests for business data.

Track and monitor IT Service consumption to help drive usage reductions across the SI EP business unit.

Build relationships with end users and provide a positive working experience with IT teams and IT tools.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in IT with a specific focus in infrastructure.

2+ years of experience with IT infrastructure solution design, implementation, and service management

Legally authorized for employment in the United States and will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field

Experience with leading/driving IT digital transformation and innovation initiatives in a complex operational environment.

Experience with SAP, Agile development teams, Manufacturing applications (PLM, OpsCenter), MS Azure

Track Record of planning and managing large/complex technical projects with superior results

Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executives.

Strong analysis and trouble shooting skills.

Eagerness to learn and an appetite for problem solving.

Strong and interpersonal skills in developing and managing relationships across many teams and organizations.

Hybrid working model based on location and ability to travel to other EP locations.

The pay range for this position is $95,700 - $164,100. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
