Cold Fusion Java Developer - NO C2C or 3 rd Parties

Location: San Francisco, CA.

(Will require hybrid on-site)

Contract length: 11+ months

MUST HAVE:
  • Full Stack Java Full life cycle development experience
  • Experience with:
    • Lucee/ColdFusion,
    • WebLogic,
    • Apache,
    • Tomcat.
    • Crystal Reports,
    • Bi-Query,
    • SQL Developer,
    • Power BI
  • Ability to take functional requirements and convert them to program design and code.
  • Application Security using Azure Active Directory
  • Some govt exp. preferred - digital govt or digital govt strategies.

Systems and Application Design and Development Experience
  • Experienced with the principles of full systems design and development life cycle (SDLC
  • Proven track record designing and developing enterprise and scalable systems, such as multi-tier, distributed and web-based system design and development principles and internet/intranet application delivery mechanisms.
  • Working knowledge and experience with the following technologies:
    • Lucee/Cold Fusion, JAVA, WebLogic, Apache, Tomcat, RESTful APIs calls, SQL, modern CSS and HTML, JSON, jQuery, AJAX calls, Bootstrap, Oracle RDBMS 19c, ANSI SQL 2000, PL/SQL, JavaScript/Typescript including promises and asynchronous functions.
  • Experience deploying and configuring Lucee/ColdFusion, WebLogic, Apache, Tomcat.
  • Experience with object-oriented design and programming architectures and design patterns.
  • Experience understanding and designing data structures, views, and stored procedures.
  • Experience in Crystal Reports, Bi-Query, SQL Developer, Power BI
  • Experience designing UX/UI for web-based apps.
  • Experienced with the principles and techniques of systems implementation including conversion, data reconciliation, user training, and documentation.
  • Experienced with developing system test plans and test script development.
  • Self-motivated quick learner with excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Proven track record of on-time, on-budget product development with a high degree of user satisfaction and quality

Analytical Experience
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and the ability to break down complex ideas into manageable pieces.
  • Experienced with the translation of business, information, and technical requirements to provide solutions that meet business needs - documenting functional and technical specifications in the development cycle.
  • Ability to identify and evaluate alternative technical solutions, costs, and benefits.
  • Proven track record in analyzing and developing solution designs for web and cloud-based processes and systems.

Development Tools
  • Working knowledge of SVN Version Control, Git and GitHub desktop.
  • Working knowledge of cloning, branching, mergers, conflict resolution, and pull requests including code reviews. Knowledge of best practices for version control including commit comments best practices
  • Experience with Linux, Windows, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Notepad, Sublime Text, GitHub Desktop and API testing software such as Postman and/or Fiddler

Compensation: The estimated pay range for this position is USD $65.00/Hr. - USD $70.00/Hr. and is an Exempt role. Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
