IT Infrastructure Field Services The primary role is to supervise the field service end-user support technician group and their deployment on service projects providing support for Windows/Mac/Linux operating systems, applications and related peripherals in a patient healthcare, research, and office administration environment. This role also includes working with our clients to clearly define and oversee completion of new project opportunities. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and comfortable working in a dynamic healthcare environment. Candidate must be organized and analytical, able to independently plan effectively to eliminate delivery obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. The desired individual must also be comfortable working in a critical 24x7 client environment and be able to lead discussions with the client and team members.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Manage field service team to provide optimum customer services
  • Develop and measure process workflow for the field service tea
  • Assist in goal setting, skill enhancement and performance reviews activities for field service staffs
  • Investigate and resolve any issues resulting from substandard performance
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed by the team members.
  • Provide training to service staff as needed.
  • Provide support and guidance to service staff to ensure timely and quality customer services
  • Develop programs to improve technical and customer service skills of service staffs
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues and obtain customer feedbacks proactively
  • Identify and resolve employee concerns and/or complaints
  • Maintain positive and healthy relationships with various cross-functional teams to ensure customer service effectiveness.
  • Assist in interviewing and hiring new professionals
  • Support field service coordinators in resource identification and planning.
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service through maintenance of high quality and integrity at work environment

REQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:
  • 5+ years of proven IT field service management role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience managing team responsible for Windows/Mac/Linux OS, desktop office productivity applications and general user deskside support
  • Needs to be able to take general direction and run with it
  • Excellent communications skills to work closely with customers
  • Ability to present ideas and recommendations to leadership
  • Understanding of solutions and field service requirements in a healthcare environment
  • Critical thinker experienced at tackling complex problems with innovative solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Manage support teams 24x7 as needed
