IT Infrastructure Delivery Director – Desktop and Office Productivity Tools Responsible for the design, implementation, and operationalization of desktop and office collaboration tools lifecycle management. This role is responsible for the desktop engineering, desktop field services support, and systems engineering and administration for the Office 365 collaboration tools including, but not necessarily limited to, Exchange, Teams, and Sharepoint. This role includes working with our clients to clearly define and oversee new project opportunities. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and comfortable working in a dynamic healthcare environment. Candidate must be organized and analytical, able to independently plan effectively to eliminate delivery obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. The desired individual must also be comfortable working in a critical 24x7 client environment and be able to lead discussions with the client and team members.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Lead a team of managers and staff responsible for Desktop Management and Office Productivity tools service delivery standards, key project initiatives and establishment of a technology roadmap for technology maintenance and refresh requirements in a managed services IT delivery company
  • Develop and institutionalize policies and procedures to support the implementation of IT service delivery strategies for desktop management and office productivity tools
  • Oversee effectiveness of team managing and troubleshooting client desktop related and standard office tool issues
  • Ensure timely and effective practices are maintained to support software updates, patching, internal/external audit, and cybersecurity compliance
  • Work closely with project management teams and clients to analyze and identify technology solutions and approach to fulfill business requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:
  • 10+ years of proven enterprise IT leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience supporting Windows/Mac/Linux OS
  • Experience managing team responsible for Microsoft MECM and MS O365 administration
  • Needs to be able to take general direction and run with it
  • Excellent communications skills to work closely with customers
  • Ability to present ideas and recommendations to leadership
  • Understanding of solutions and field service requirements in a healthcare environment
  • Critical thinker experienced at tackling complex problems with innovative solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Manage support teams 24x7 as needed
  • Experience supporting new business opportunities
