Job Description: As a member of the Information Technology Services (ITS) Project Management Office, this position will act as a Technical Project Manager under the general direction of management and will utilize standard project management practices and tools in the delivery of technical projects. This position is responsible to steward the delivery of projects, including the development of project scope, schedules, and budget. Oversees the project from initiation through delivery, and is responsible for securing the necessary project team resources, identification/management of key issues/risks (removal of roadblocks) and status reporting. Additionally, this PM will collaborate with other Project Managers within the ITS to develop project management best practice/standards, templates and processes. This position is classified as a two year contract position with the possibility of converting to a permanent career position should funding become available inthe future. In addition, the position is classified as remote with occasional visits to campus as necessary. Working hours will be based on Pacific Standard Time (PST). The maximum annual budgeted salary for this position is $104,600. As a condition of employment, you will be required to comply with the University of California SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Vaccination Program Policy. All Covered Individuals under the policy must provide proof of Full Vaccination or, if applicable, submit a request for Exception (based on Medical Exemption, Disability, and/or Religious Objection) or Deferral (based on pregnancy) no later than the applicable deadline. For new University of California employees, the applicable deadline is eight weeks after their first date of employment.

Implements the project management process in support of products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams. Monitors and reports on project progress from initiation through delivery, including oversight of system integration, project and campus, medical center or Office of the President communications, interaction with vendors and managing risk. Works with the broader ITS project management team to develop standards, templates and processes to guide all ITS projects. 20

Assembles and directs moderate to large project teams, designs project plans and schedules and monitors budget and resources. Directs the activities of the project with the goal of completing the project on schedule and within budget constraints. 15
