Description

Purpose: This product line in site services partners with several business groups such as design & construction, security & resilience, material operations etc. The business or vendor that services the business owns many of the systems. They need support from IT to establish connectivity of those systems with other systems or when they are upgrading or if any of the components used in solutions are being retired or replaced etc.This squad should be able to engage with multiple stakeholders, assess the needs, make recommendations and seek additional staff/skills.

Requirements

Scrum master/PM: 50%

Responsibilities
  • Bring structure and coordinate the squad’s deliverables
  • Negotiate priorities, represent the squad in status updates with portfolio projects
  • Conduct impact assessment for business-led initiatives and coordinate testing as needed etc.
  • Assemble, guide, empower and serve the team to create value for our business and, ultimately, our patients.
  • Responsible for successful ensuring Scrum is understood and enacted by ensuring that the Scrum Team adheres to Scrum theory, practices, and rules
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, enabling the team to strive for continuous learning and improvement
  • Monitors development/sprint progress
  • Remove impediments and/or guiding the team to remove impediments
  • Responsible for coordinating work with the development team, ensure timelines are met
  • Responsible for project status communication and reporting
  • Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised and conflicts can be resolved among the team
  • Formulate risk mitigation strategies and recommend solutions

Business Analyst: 50%

Responsibilities
  • Document and analyze requirements, scope, business rules (use cases) and user stories
  • Document current and future state needs
  • Verifies feasibility of provided requirements with the development team
  • Assist in user acceptance testing including creating user guides and other documents
  • Facilitate workshops - story-boarding workshops, translate story-boarding artifacts into an electronic format and provide input in design sessions
  • Collaborate with customers, IT project managers, Architects, Developers & Software Quality Assurance on solutions and risks

Requirements:
  • Degree in Information Technology or Business or relevant experience
  • PMP, Scrum Master CERTIFICATIONS (PSM II, ACP or CSM) is a plus
  • Experience in working with virtual/dispersed project/service team
  • Good knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Excellent communicator, listener and collaborator who is able to present complex information, issues and potential solutions to the senior IT management, senior customer management, and executive teams.
  • Has strong soft skills typically required in stakeholder engagement (empowering people, influencing, negotiation, conflict management, empathy, awareness of different norms and expectations). Exhibits intellectual curiosity and integrity
  • Exhibits servant leadership style towards the product owner, scrum master, development team and the wider organization.
  • Has strong skills in leading teams, problem solving, influencing, teamwork, initiative and communication.
  • Has the ability to work flexible hours as needed and to facilitate virtual meetings for globally dispersed teams.
  • Has a Healthcare software background (preferred), International teamwork or global functional experience is preferred.
  • Strong business analysis experience in the area of application development and systems integration
  • Strong skills in critical thinking and analysis, small and large group facilitation skills
  • Builds strong relationships with project team and stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to navigate, negotiate, influence across stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success handling initiatives of high complexity and risk
  • Demonstrated passion for driving your own self-development and motivation
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced role and required the art of agility, flexibility and time management
