Agilent IT is seeking a skilled and experienced individual to become part of our End User Computing's PC Engineering Team. In this role, you will manage our internal Windows and Mac printing service globally. This service is vital to 20k+ internal workers on a daily basis. You will be part of a team at one of Agilent's IT hub sites and support print at 50+ locations globally. You will be the company-wide single point of contact for internal printing needs.
  • Manage print by coordinating with designated individuals at the remote sites who are your "eyes and ears" representing the userbase and businesses at the site.
  • Manage the relationship with our print vendor. In addition, you will manage all of the related finances (invoices, purchase orders, accruals, forecast and actuals) and ensure they are reported accurately.
  • Manage our printers over the lifecycle of the printer, from business need, to acquisition, to support, to decommission. You will work with the support engineers to ensure that the printer software (on the PC, on the server, on the printer) is up to date. You will ensure our print environment is secure and remains free of malware.
  • Manage the print environment by working with various business functions and IT towers to ensure you deliver a quality service. Knowledge of networking is a plus.
  • Manage and report key metrics demonstrating the health of the service.
  • Manage a team of outsourced print engineers that manage the day-to-day print activities.
  • Work with the team on their process, emphasize best practices, and process improvements. You will manage the support team through regular meetings.
  • Lead, create, and evolve the print service strategy. Over time, you will lead Agilent to our next-generation print solution with the goals of managing the cost of the service, minimizing support efforts, and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Long term, there will be an opportunity to expand and manage other services offered within the End User Computing team.
