System Engineer Storage Services - will include but not limited to the following: Have a successfully completed degree in computer science or a comparable professional training At least 3 years of relevant professional experience as a storage administrator, systems engineer or consultant Ideally, have been working with NetApp, DellEMC, PURE or Hitachi storage solutions for several years Have a good proven expertise in scripting (Bash, Perl, PowerShell, ) ITIL, CMDB and other Enterprise IT processes and frameworks are known to you Ideally, bring experience with 7-mode to NetApp clustered data ONTAP migrations Approach problems pragmatically and with a hands-on mentality On-call duty is not a deterrent and working in intercultural and interdisciplinary teams is appealingOperation-Services Daily operational tasks such as the resolution of Remedy Tickets and Changes Follow-up/track alarms sent out by DFM / onCommand, Zabbix and/or similar or self-developed tools Work on error messages out of monitoring tools Support tech-refreshes, system-extension Update documentation as appropriate (CMDB, Zabbix, Confluence, ) Participate on global onCall shifts (1-2 weeks / month)Migration-Services Participation in storage projects such as the migration from NetApp 7-Mode to NetApp clustered data ONTAP Planning of migration projects Setup and configuration of 7MTT Execution of 7MTT-Migrationprojects Documentation of 7MTT-MigrationprojectsADVANCED Tasks would / could include: Planning, design and implementation of storage solutions. This includes the construction and installation of NetApp clusters / filters at central and decentralized locations as well as the software installation and configuration of new filers and clusters including commissioning, testing and acceptance.
