- Bachelor's degree in information technology, networking, or any other related field.
- Build, setup and configure workstations (laptops and desktops) according to company specifications
- Prepare, box and ship workstations and peripheral equipment to locations across the United States
- Prepare shipping labels for mailing and track packages through receipt
- Drop off boxed equipment at local mailing facility as needed
- Prepare and send workstation and equipment return kits
- Receive returned workstations and equipment
- Provide support for systems and software to company employees and contractors, including operating system, application, phone system support and any Level 1 tickets received through ITSM system for remote and local office users
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues
- Install and test application software
- Support and adhere to company policies and guidelines and support proper use of IT assets and tools throughout the company
- Train end users on use of workstation hardware and software and other office equipment as needed
- Install and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and other equipment within the office
- Install and maintain VOIP telephones within the office
- Install and maintain networking and telco equipment and cabling within the office
- Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for workstation builds and other IT processes
- Maintain asset inventory for all equipment
- Provide assistance for local infrastructure projects
- Coordinate with vendors as required
- Other duties as required
- Excellent workstation/operating systems setup and troubleshooting skills
- Desktop and laptop hardware along with other office peripherals
- Windows 10, Mac OS
- A wide variety of application software including Microsoft Office, Internet browsers, antivirus and antimalware, Adobe, and others
- Microsoft Intune
- Remote support applications such as Teams, LogMeIn, TeamViewer, etc.
- Basic networking including LAN/WiFi configurations and equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
- Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Able to manage multiple projects and effectively establish priorities
- Maintain a high degree of customer service
