Job Description:
- Position: IT Web Developer (Migration)
- Location:Remote (Menlo Park, CA)
- Duration: 6-9 months (temporary role)
- Pay Rate: $70 to $100 per hour
- Start Date: as soon as possible or until Filled / Closed

- 3 or more years of experience in Drupal 9 or 8 is preferable
- We are looking for a skilled Drupal site Builder to help us build websites in Drupal 9 using an existing template. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Drupal and good usability practices
- Work with multiple groups in parallel as they migrate (95% is Migration Only) their sites from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9
- Help audit existing Drupal 7 site content and define the information architecture for those sites in Drupal 9
- Understand the business requirements, translate them into a website design, and use the supplied Drupal 9 template and modules to implement it
- Select and edit images
- Ensure websites are responsive and accessible
- Test websites for usability and functionality
- Train content editors on managing their Drupal 9 sites
- Need a person who is able to revisit, validate, and filter the existing site before migration
- Should be able to use the existing templates. No custom coding needed; Also no new builds
- Perform other duties as assigned by Leadership responsible for maintenance
Requirements: - Strong understanding of Drupal 9 and its ecosystem
- Demonstrated ability to train content editors
- Experience working with Drupal 9 templates and modules
- Understanding of web design principles and best practices for UI/UX, usability, and accessibility
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS is desirable
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager knowledge is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
