Job Captain

Job Captain As a Job Captain, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping architectural projects. Your responsibilities include:

Envelope Coordination: Oversee all aspects of interior engineered building systems, ensuring seamless integration.

Technical Drawings: Create and coordinate building sections, walls, plan details, and elevations.

Collaboration: Work closely with team members to integrate architectural elements effectively.

3D Design Development: Utilize Revit and other 3D modeling software to bring visionary, programming, and schematic proposals to life.

Compliance: Review building codes to ensure adherence to legal standards in California.

Construction Administration: Attend meetings, review shop drawings, and maintain project records.

Sustainability Focus: Strive for Net Zero, LEED Gold, and AIA 2030 Commitment criteria.

Skills and Qualifications:

Architecture: Proficient in architectural design, construction documents, and building envelope.

Educational Projects: Experience in K-12 and Higher Education projects.

Revit: Strong proficiency in Revit software.

Additional Software Skills: Familiarity with Adobe Suite (including Illustrator), Sketchup, Rhino, and Grasshopper.

Communication: Excellent communication skills when interacting with staff, owners, and community members.

Project Management: Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience Level: Intermediate (7 to 10 years of full-time experience).

Education:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
