Leaps n Boundz is a RAPIDLY growing, movement-based company seeking like-minded professionals who would like to change the world's view on individuals with disabilities (Autism, Intellectual Disability). Our mission is to make our mark on the world through the clients we serve and the employees who work alongside us.

Seeking an energetic, team-oriented professional who has experience working with children & adults on the Autism Spectrum and other developmental disabilities (Down Syndrome, ID, Intellectual Disability). The individual will work in collaboration with other team members across community and clinic-based programming.

Employees are scheduled Monday-Friday during business hours.

There is opportunity for growth We prefer to promote from within for positions within our training and management departments. Growth opportunities in as little as 6 months.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead direct intervention with clients in 1:1 and small groups of 4-6 children using incidental teaching, Social Awareness curriculum and Applied Behavior Analysis

Collaborate with parents and staff members about problem behaviors and/or generalization strategies

Maintain a professional environment and encourage teamwork among staff

Upbeat and positive energy with clients, parents, and staff members

Solution-based approach and flexibility/willingness to work with a variety of clients (schedules are subject to change)

REQUIREMENTS:

MUST HAVE Reliable transportation, valid CA driver's license, clear DMV report, and proof of car insurance.

Comfortable working in a movement-based facility

Bachelors Degree Preferred

RBT preferred

Prior to employment, candidates will have to complete a live scan fingerprinting to obtain criminal clearance from DOJ and FBI.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
