Client's Talent, Development & Inclusion team (TD&I) is seeking an individual to fill an immediate opening as a Learning and Development Coordinator. This is a contract role that’s currently fully remote, but will be required to be on Gilead’s Foster City campus when we return to site.

Essential Duties and Job Functions: • Support end to end seamless coordination and logistics of virtual instructor-led course delivery • Manage and maintain relationships with vendors and subject matter experts; escalate issues when necessary • Manage contracts, purchase orders, and invoices • Manage multiple central email inboxes • Serve as a Learning Management System (LMS) administrator and provide consultation and guidance to our partners (globally). • Partner with local and global counter parts to improve and ensure current and consistent processes • Generate standard and ad-hoc reports as requested • Contribute to L&D course marketing efforts as well as internal communications between Learning & Development, HRBPs and other groups • Oversees consistent the survey administration across all programming • Prepare course materials; manage materials inventory; set up and clean up classrooms for onsite courses (when we return to site)

Knowledge, Experience and Skills: • Strong organization and time management skills; able to manage tasks simultaneously • Strong customer service orientation while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentially • Displays growth mindset, adaptability and change readiness for thriving in a changing environment • Demonstrated trouble-shooting/problem-solving mindset and capabilities • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and telephone skills • Able to interface effectively with many levels of employees, and the ability to effectively manage working relationships with external partners and facilitators • Able to perform job responsibilities and duties under minimal supervision • Proficient in excel, outlook and survey monkey administration

Minimum qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience in learning and development, training administration or HR

Additional Information: • An interest in Learning & Development, Inclusion & Diversity and/or Human Resources a plus, but not required • Experience in training administration, and with a learning management system, a definite plus • This position requires the ability to move boxes of course materials, up to 20 lbs, from building to building with the use of a hand cart
