  • 7 years of IT business process experience
  • Working knowledge of the ITIL methodology, LEAN IT, or Lean Six Sigma

  • Ability to suggest plans to integrate new and existing processes
Job Responsibilities
  • The Business Process Specialist performs assignments of broad scope and complexity with moderate to high risk and few precedents or standard solutions in an autonomous fashion under general guidance.
  • IT Process and Standards Management Assignments are based on extensive knowledge of concepts, principles or practices in a specific discipline, field or area of expertise, and require seasoned, experienced-based judgment in applying and adapting techniques.
  • The work product has moderate to potentially significant impact (e.g. financial, public perception, operational, legal) on the Company; and with general guidance, Specialist may need to integrate information from various sources and demonstrate high credibility with others.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing enterprise standards and processes; manages and coordinates process and standards solutions for internal clients.
  • Participates in continuous review and update to ensure that processes meet changing business unit conditions.
  • Facilities the optimization of business unit performance.
  • Identifies processes for improvement, documents existing processes, identifies and analyzes gaps between current processes and the desired state, designs new processes, develops process performance measures and plans the transition to a new process.

Planning and Analysis
  • Responsible for actively resolving day-to-day technology needs of the business unit with a focus on the analysis of processes-dissecting problems and suggesting solutions.
  • Creates and recommends process and standards plans for projects, or modifying existing plans.
  • Develops, communicates, and enforces process and standards policies and procedures; helps to create technical change management processes and documentation; assists the business to mature its processes; identifies and analyzes root causes using supporting tools

Consultancy
  • Develops and maintains productive client, staff, and leadership relationships and provides business process improvements recommendations
  • Provides consultation on process and standards issues with other organizations such as audit, compliance, and/or change management
  • Facilitates working sessions related to business process standards; researches and recommends process improvement industry best practices
  • Special Projects Works on special projects related to process and standards audits, compliance, and/or remediation
