Description We are partnering with a renowned National Family Law Firm to source a qualified Jr. Paralegal to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is an excellent opportunity for a recently certified paralegal or a Law Clerk awaiting bar exam results to gain hands-on experience in a law firm environment. The Jr. Paralegal will primarily focus on administrative and clerical tasks, supporting the firm’s paralegal team and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. This position requires the candidate to work on-site 5 days a week in the firm’s downtown Sacramento office.Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the organization and maintenance of client files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.

Perform data entry and update case management systems with relevant case information.

Handle routine administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing emails, and scheduling appointments and meetings.

Prepare and manage legal correspondence, including letters, memos, and other documents as directed.

Support the paralegal team with filing, copying, scanning, and other clerical duties as needed.

Coordinate the delivery and retrieval of documents to and from courts, clients, and other law firms.

Assist in organizing and maintaining the firm’s calendar, including tracking deadlines and court dates.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Recently certified paralegal or Law Clerk pending bar results.

Previous experience in a legal/law firm setting, particularly in a clerical or administrative role, is a plus.

Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Ability to commit to 5 days a week on-site work in downtown Sacramento.
