Description Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. The Junior Accountant will assist with various accounting tasks, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain valuable experience and grow within our organization.Key Responsibilities:

General Ledger:

Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger by posting and verifying financial transactions.

Prepare and enter journal entries under the supervision of senior accounting staff.

Financial Reporting:

Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Generate and distribute various financial reports as needed.

Reconciliation:

Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts regularly.

Identify and resolve discrepancies with the assistance of senior staff.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring timely payments and accurate records.

Assist in managing accounts receivable, including invoicing and recording payments.

Data Entry:

Enter financial data into accounting software accurately and efficiently.

Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.

Compliance:

Assist with ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Administrative Support:

Provide administrative support to the Finance team as needed.

Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager or senior staff.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience:

0-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.

Internships or prior entry-level experience in accounting is a plus.

Skills:

Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
