Seeking an IT Project Manager for a contract position with our award winning, San Diego based biotech client.
DetailsDuration: 4-month W2 contract, potential to extendLocation: San Diego, CA or Remote from United StatesWork hours: 8 am - 5 pm Pacific Time zoneRole overview:• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: daily scrum, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint review, and retrospectives• Maintain Scrum team data in project management software (i.e. JIRA) to support estimates and execution• Identify needs for plan changes then track, manage and communicate plan changes to the team and stakeholders to ensure project goals are in alignment with business objectives• Guide the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values for the benefit of our customers.• Support the Product Owner, especially on refining and maintaining the product backlog• Identify and resolve or escalate project issues, facilitate tradeoff decisions, and remove obstaclesRequirements• CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or equivalent scrum master certification• 1+ years of experience with Agile software integration projects as a scrum master or project manager• Interpersonal and facilitation skills- proven ability to effectively build relationships and achieve consensus across a wide range of functions and constituents• Communication- Must be able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization• Strong quantitative and qualitative skills; detail-oriented with ability to see the big picture and to work effectively at both high and detailed levels• Experience integrating deliverables spanning host software, web/cloud, embedded software, and hardwareEducation Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Information Technology Systems, Computer Applications, Project Management or any equivalent scientific field• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent scrum master certificationCompensation: Approximately $40 - $50/hr W2 - The offered rate to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include (but are not limited to) the type and length of experience within the industry, location, education, etc.Please apply today!- ID: #49201801
