Job Title: Late Night Kitchen Team Member

Location: Boricua Empanadas, Chinatown - 635 N Broadway, Los Angeles, CA

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time (Late Night Shifts)

Hourly Pay: $18/hour

Positions Hiring:

1. Line Cook: Prepares specific dishes during service, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely delivery under high-pressure conditions.

2. Expeditor (Expo): Organizes orders, verifies accuracy, and ensures timely delivery of dishes to the dining room while coordinating communication between kitchen and serving staff.

3. Prep Cook: Prepares ingredients and performs preliminary cooking tasks to support kitchen operations, ensuring readiness and adherence to recipes and portion sizes.

4. Empanada Filler : Prepares, assembles, and ensures the consistent quality of empanadas by meticulously filling and sealing them to meet culinary standards.

5. Register: Manages register operations at a fast food restaurant, efficiently processing customer orders, handling payments, and coordinating with delivery apps to ensure accurate and timely delivery orders."

Boricua Empanadas, situated in the vibrant heart of Chinatown, Los Angeles, is hiring for the position of Late Night Kitchen Team Members We are seeking dedicated individuals who thrive in a late-night kitchen environment. In this role (8 pm - 4 am), While speaking Spanish is a plus, it is not required. If you have a passion for Puerto Rican flavors, excel in a fast-paced kitchen environment and can start immediately, we want to hear from you! Wepaaaa

Requirements:

- Previous kitchen experience, is preferred. But willing to train self Starters.

- Familiarity with Puerto Rican cuisine and a genuine enthusiasm for Good Food!

- Comfortability and skill in operating various kitchen equipment.

- Strong self-starter mentality, showing initiative and motivation in a fast-paced environment.

- Attention to detail, dedication to maintaining food quality, and a passion for culinary excellence.

- Ability to thrive in a collaborative kitchen environment during late-night shifts.

- Flexibility to work late-night hours, including weekends and holidays.

- Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
