Responsible for preparing food items and ensuring high-quality service. Key responsibilities include:

- Cooking and preparing dishes - follow recipes and cooking techniques to prepare meals according to the restaurant’s menu

- Food safety - Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations

- Communication - Communicate effectively with fellow bar staff, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth

- Teamwork - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and quality in food preparation

- Attention to detail - Maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation in the kitchen

- This role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- California Food safety and handling certification

- 1 - 2 years prior experience in related food and beverage service and food preparation positions

- Thorough experience with hot and cold food preparation

- Good working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and health codes

- Strong knife skills

- Ability to follow recipes accurately

- Good organizational and time management skills
