Lab Soldering Technician for Global Chip company in Irvine, CAGlobal infrastructure technology leader is seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to manage lab activities to support engineering’s testing and development, including managing lab tools to support the re-work, testing and developments and purchasing Supplies to support engineering’s new design and development.

Required Skills:Development LabTechnician Responsibilities:

Solder, de-solder, fly-wire, re-balling BGA, and modules, including complex modification under Modules and wafer level, QFN, BGA chips

Must be able to solder small components (0402 resistor size)

2. Plan and execute lab projects includingequipment planning/ procurement/ setup/ inventory/ maintenance/ calibration/SWupdate/license & renewal, and lab network/security/IT interface, etc.3. Coordinate preventative maintenance withEquipment Engineering across equipment and auxiliary tools including use ofdatabases4. Responsible for maintaining laboratory stockand budgets (substrates, chemicals, consumables, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:1. 6 years or more years related experience2. Experience with lab PO process fromquotation, purchase, payment, to delivery and vendor management3.
