Lab Systems Specialist

In this position you will work in a fast paced, customer focused, and challenging environment, and will be a part of our overall mission at LabCorp: "Improving Health, Improving Lives".Schedule:Monday to Friday 6am to 2:30pm. over time and weekend coverage as needed.Job ResponsibilitiesConsulting with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives.Provide on call support for production systems.Provide on-site training and support prior to, during and post system Implementations and conversions.Solid troubleshooting skills for enterprise level production systems, to include instrument interfaces, middleware platforms, and Laboratory Information Systems.Ability to perform file definition and configuration within Laboratory Information Systems, Instrument Interfaces, and middleware platforms.Ability to create user training documentation using Microsoft Word, Visio, and other tools.Ability to take initiative to learn existing applications.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).Experience in Healthcare applications and systems.Prepare Laboratory Bulletins for Instrument Interfaces, middleware platforms, supporting services, programs and/or applications.Conduct file definition/configuration, testing and troubleshooting for interfaces, services, programs and applications.Assisting with LCWS annual rule validations.Job Requirements:Normally requires a B.S.
