Laser Engineer, Console OperationsDirector of Console Operations

DepartmentConsole OperationsProduct development phase:Perform research, development and testing of lasers, laser systems, and fiber optic delivery devices for surgical applications. Provide knowledge of lasers and photonics, particularly high-energy pulsed, Q-switched, and diode driven fiber optic lasers. Build bench-level prototypes and conduct experiments to lead understanding of system design requirements. Work closely with other members of our small, interdisciplinary team developing innovative laser devices and related technologies in a focused, fast-paced and fun environment. This position will require you to translate raw ideas into high-level design concepts and prototypes.Product transition to Manufacturing and on-going productionAbsorb product knowledge from R&D team and transition product to Manufacturing, developing assembly and test procedures. Perform pFMEA to assure product continues to remain compliant to design intent and is traceable to specification. Perform trouble shooting and root cause analysis in manufacturing as needed and implement improvements to reduce cost and address issues.
