One day the world may hear the full story of your achievements and discover the critical role you’ve contributed to defend America.As a Launch Systems Integration Systems Engineer , you will work closely with the Space Vehicle and Launch Vehicle teams providing technical support and direction while working with Teams on cross-level multidisciplinary product development Teams.Among other tasks, you will Support the development of Launch Base and Launch Vehicle requirements and review verification reports Support execution of test events, evaluation of results, and development of verification reports to ensure requirement compliance Coordinate and provide technical support to integrate a Space Vehicle onto a Launch Vehicle system which includes mechanical and electrical interfaces, launch facilities, communications, and transportation Facilitate and participate in studies and system trades for enhanced capabilities Effectively coordinate tasks and communicate with numerous customers which may require travel 20% of the timeTo promote the sharing of ideas, Lockheed Martin cultivates an inclusive work environment that inspires differences and big-picture thinking.Lockheed Martin Space|Legacy in Sunnyvale, CA.Learn more about Lockheed Martin’s competitive and comprehensive benefits package.Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field from an accredited college, or equivalent experience or combined education Understanding of electrical or mechanical interfaces Formal test and analysis experience Ability to travel 20% of the time, including extended travel Active Final-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearanceDesired Skills: Experience with system analyses and defining Launch Base and Launch Vehicle Requirements including drafting, reviewing, and releasing requirements specification documents Experience supporting execution of test events, evaluation of results, and development of verification reports to ensure requirement compliance Experience in Electrical or Mechanical interfaces between the Launch Vehicle and the Space Vehicle Experience with Launch Base Operations from the time the Space Vehicle arrives at the launch base until launch Demonstrated experience in performing technical studies and system trades for enhanced capabilities Ability to coordinate with and interface with numerous customers, be proficient at delivering technical briefings Strong interpersonal and communications skills with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships Active Top Secret/SCI security clearanceSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: TS/SCIOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday offPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $94,500 - $178,000.
