Laurel Court Bartender

The Fairmont is looking for a seasonal Bartender for our Holiday season between November and January, who is passionate about service and guest experience!What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceProven mixology knowledge and experience.Maintain a professional but engaging interaction with guests and colleagues.Assist guests regarding all beverage menu items in an informative and helpful wayMix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelinesHave full knowledge of beverage lists and promotionsHave full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methodsFollow outlet policies, procedures and service standardsFollow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage Other duties as assigned Hourly Rate: $27.56 USD Gross per HourYour skills and experience include:Excellent knowledge of all beverage productsPrevious point of sale system experience an asset Excellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
