Lead C# / .NET Developers, (Multiple) San Bernardino – Contract

Sierra Cybernetics is seeking multiple experienced C#/.Net software developers to work for us, supporting our San Bernardino County government client.

You will work closely with the county department and IT team designing and developing web applications and interfaces. The position requires strong background experience working with Microsoft’s suite of development products (C#, .Net, SQL Server, etc.), Azure technologies, and GIT. It also requires an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and best practices for software modernization projects. Candidates should also possess excellent problem solving, organizational and communication skills, and keep abreast with emerging technologies.

Expected to be a 12 month position, open to US citizens, green card and H1-B holders.

For the first 2 months, it will be full-time on-site in San Bernardino with possibility of a hybrid schedule thereafter.

Candidates need 7 – 10 years experience as a Developer with a minimum of 5 years in a senior role.

WinForms experience is a definite requirement. Do not respond unless you can show this experience on your resume.

We have separate positions with the same basic requirements, but additionally with Blazor and/or mainframe (COBOL/DB2 development or interfacing experience) being highly desired. If you have Blazor and/or COBOL/DB2 experience, demonstrate that on your resume.

Responsibilities

Technical Lead involved in all stages of the project life cycle, interacting directly with clients.

Coordinate project efforts with varying degrees of complexity, deadlines, goals, etc.

Create detailed project documents including but not limited to a Design/Deployment documents, configuration document and other technical documentation.

Design/execute test plans focused on ensuring intuitive functional solutions are delivered.

Lead design sessions, architect solutions aligned with business objectives.

Experience and Education

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum of 7 years programming experience using .Net, C#, Azure, SQL Server, GIT.

o Software Development, Database Management, Information Systems Architecture

Experience with WinForms (required).

Minimum of 5 years as a Senior Developer.

Excellent written & verbal communication; project management & organizational skills.

Highly Desired:

Blazor experience

or

Mainframe (COBOL/DB2) experience

Rate: Depending on experience

1099/C2C = 90 – 110

W2 = 75 – 95
