;/a> Lead DevOps Engineer - Edge Networking Startup Location: You can either work remotely or in the company's office in San Jose, CA (which they plan to get in mid 2023)The company's product involves edge networking and is enterprise SaaS. It drastically enhances security, performance, and connectivity.The company has raised about $20 million in funding. It has about 40 employees 30 engineers and is rapidly growing.The company will pay salary up to $200k, as well as equity which could be lucrative. Job Responsibilities:- Leading 2 other engineers.- Managing the company's product which is enterprise SaaS.- Building monitoring and alerting tools, using things like Prometheus.- Defining the DevOps process for the product and executing it. Automating it in production.- Making developers more productive.- Some coding with whatever you'd like (typically Python, maybe Go, but mostly scripting).- Working with Docker, Jenkins, Github, Terraform, and Kubernetes.- The controller is on AWS, and they have plans to have alternate cloud providers. Connectors go to customer instances at the edge of the cloud. They are currently multi-Cloud - currently deployed in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and Digital Ocean. Qualifications:- Experience as a DevOps Engineer for an enterprise software product.- At least 10 years of professional experience, including 5 as a DevOps Engineer.- Proficient in Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, and AWS.Nice to have:- Google Cloud Platform.- Azure.- Networking experience.- Leadership experience.
