The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is looking for a hands-on experienced IT professional to lead a team within our DevOps organization. In this role you will provide guidance to engineers allocated across multiple projects, execute and drive DevOps, automation and engineering solutions on premises and in the cloud.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with concentration in computer science, management information systems or comparable technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant technical work experience with 5 years of experience in managing complex systems using software
  • 3 years of experience with implementation of DevOps or CI/CD.
  • Solid understanding of the DevOps ecosystem and technology stack (e.g. Maven, Jenkins, CHEF, GitHub, Nexus, Subversion, GitLab, Fortify, SonarQube). Jenkins pipeline implementations.
  • Advanced knowledge of networking, security and automated deployments
  • Programming experience with Object-oriented languages like Java, C.
  • Knowledge of J2EE/JSP/EJB technologies, Web Services, Application Servers like WebSphere, Tomcat.
  • Solid working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems. Experience writing Bash script programs.
  • Solid working knowledge with databases Oracle, SQL Server
  • Desired knowledge/experience on Application Server monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Introscope • Excellent organizational, problem solving, financial, influencing and negotiating skills. Excellent day-to-day operating skills - ability to execute coupled with a disciplined approach and manage risk.
  • Commitment to delivering a great customer experience with a personal and professional value system consistent with the culture and values of the Bank and FRS.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of business
  • CHEF and Ruby programming experience is required.
  • Must be a U.S Citizen or a Green Card holder with intent to become a U.S Citizen
