Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 4

    years of pricing/estimating, finance, contracts, proposals, and/or business-related experience, or a master’s degree with 2 years of stated experience.
  • Must understand the business accounting structure, disclosure statement, CERs, and rate applications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities:

  • Compiles cost and pricing data and own cost volume in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications.
  • Coordinates costing activities and participates in fact-finding meetings.
  • Participates in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.
  • Provide key inputs for BAP gate reviews and Bid Decision Reviews (BDRs).
  • Collaborate with business development, program management, and engineering teams to complete pricing drills, ROMs, and fully compliant cost proposals.
  • Performs analyses in support of pricing and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.).
  • Coordinates the preparation of cost and/or pricing spreadsheets and data.
  • Analyzes estimates of service, material, equipment, and production costs
  • Conducts and participates in proposal reviews with management.

Desired Skills (Optional but differentiators)
  • Advanced Excel.
  • Knowledge of the government regulations FAR and DFARS.
  • Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and accounting/proposal auditing techniques.
  • Industry specific experience and knowledge.

Annual Base Salary Range for CA, CO, NJ, NY, WA: $90,000 to $140,000. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
