Join our Radiology Department as a Lead Radiology Technologist at Scripps Mercy Hospital in Hillcrest. This is a fast-paced department that handles a mix of both in-patient and out-patient imaging and procedures and will give you the opportunity to experience everything general radiology has to offer. The ideal candidate is passionate about their work and will gain experience in OR, Fluoroscopy, and GI as you continue to develop your skills with this team environment that feels like family.

As a Rad Tech Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing age-specific care, education, and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team.
  • Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
  • Functions as liaison between state and federal agencies for licensure, certification, and QA requirements for the entire radiology department.
  • Maintains all records as needed to verify that regulations are being maintained at all times.
  • Responsible for charge reconciliation audits for procedures performed in the Radiology department.

This is a Full Time position (80 hours every two weeks) working 8 hour varied evening shifts (3PM - 11:30PM) with occasional weekendsand holidayavailability needed, located at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of a formal training/educational program in an AMA/JCERT approved school of Radiology Technology.
  • CRT, FLUORO, & BLS.
  • Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years experience.
  • Knowledge of patient-focused care delivery.
