Job Description

Lead Security Engineer Century City, CA Direct Hire $130k- $155k annually Our client, a global commercial real estate company has an immediate need for a talented and motivated Lead Security Engineer. The ideal candidate enjoys and thrives working with a variety of security tools, automation, architecting, and building while securing the environment. We are looking for someone with a focus on Security Engineering and who is comfortable being hands-on with all aspects of the security domains. You will work with everything from Systems Infrastructure, Cloud Services, Enterprise Applications, and Networking. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone seeking stability. Required Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with industry security tools related to IDS/IPS, zero-trust model, endpoint, email, networking, vulnerability, CASB, CSPM, and SIEM/SOAR.
  • Experience building meaningful dashboards for operational, KPI, and KRI reporting
  • Passion for learning all things Cyber Security.
  • "DevSecOps Understanding of CI/CD and related topics.
  • Familiarity with public cloud providers (AWS preferred)
  • Familiarity with physical security logistics
  • Ability to think creatively to find new solutions to tough cutting-edge problems.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced cross-functional teams
Bonus/Soft Skills:
  • You will work as a member of our Cyber Security Team, bringing an experienced and pragmatic security-focused point of view to all projects.
  • You will be the nucleus of a cross-functional team to evaluate security posture and address any discovered threats or vulnerabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud, endpoint, email, web, network, and all other facets of the threat landscape and information security domains.
  • You will spend at least 75% of your working hours with security operations and improving operational maturity.
  • You will participate in all aspects of Cyber Security: risk, asset, communications, access management, attack surface management, response, tool selection, and security testing.
  • Comfortable with programming and shell languages like Python and PowerShell
  • Experience with API integrations for automation and reporting
