As a senior or Lead Site Reliability Engineer, you will work with STAR development and QA teams, DevOps teams as well as our National IT teams architecting, building, and managing the systems that support the STAR application suite both on-prem and in the Cloud. Your main focus will be crafting and implementing the tooling and services required to support STAR's development processes while following DevOps best practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Working with the development teams and DevOps teams to create and implement STAR's Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline
  • Work with National IT to create and implement the tooling required for Continuous Delivery
  • Ensure our systems and tooling are future proof and can accommodate growth and continually changing requirements
  • Participate in design and planning sessions to ensure changes to tooling or services are accounted for
  • Design and implement process improvements
  • Coach and mentor others on Platform Engineering and DevOps best practices

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of industry experience in building and supporting enterprise level systems as a platform engineer or equivalent in a production environment
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing, supporting, and using the tools and services required for DevOps best practices.
