Summary The Leasing Agent at Acorn Town Center (https://bridgehousing.com/properties/acorn-town-center/) is responsible for leasing and administrative support. This position requires outstanding interpersonal and time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. This position will report to the Resident Manager and the Property Supervisor and will perform a variety of administrative duties to support the extensive needs of our high-profile apartment communities. The ideal candidate for this position will possess excellent verbal, written, organizational, analytical and computer skills. The ability to work collaboratively with other key staff and deal with the public is required. R esponsibilities
Field phone calls regarding vacancies
Show apartments
Process applications
Assist in recertification files
Assist in administrative tasks in office
Provide customer service to residents
Initiate, schedule, and complete applicant certification process
Maintain computer database - input information and retrieval of reports
Prepare weekly and monthly reports
Calendar events and meetings
Organize and publicize events
Assist with projects on as needed basis
Qualifications
Experience working with TCAC, HUD, and Project-Base affordable housing program
Strong sales skills
Proven ability to work with diverse individuals
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office programs, Yardi experience a plus
Ability to prioritize duties, meet multiple deadlines and work as a team member
Superior organizational skills, attention to detail and follow through
Preferred
Background in residential housing
Knowledge of CA Tenant /Landlord law & Fair Housing laws
Bilingual
Interest in real estate/property management and non-profit work
Ability to lift/transport 10 pounds
Sense of humor
