As a Leasing Professional, you will serve as a central point of contact between the Community residents, Community management, as well as the Community maintenance team. You are responsible for welcoming prospective residents to the community, coordinating tours, and responding to incoming inquiries about leasing. You will also interact with current residents regarding day-to-day issues as well as coordinating the renewals of existing leases.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Greet prospective residents and give tours while determining housing needs, preferences, and close leads

2. Accurately prepare and assist new residents with all leasing paperwork (i.e. lease move-in packets, applications, lease agreements, and employment and credit checks)

3. Maintain high occupancy level through support of and participation in leasing activities, effective motivation, keeping informed of market conditions, understanding competitive pricing.

4. Support the marketing functions through recording accurate data on prospective and new residents, and by keeping informed of the competition.

5. Utilize company resources to facilitate leasing.

6. Assist in establishing and achieving financial goals by effectively qualifying prospective residents and verifying applications.

7. May coordinate the completion of resident renovations and maintenance requests.

8. Strive to make the living experience, particularly the first and last impressions, of the highest quality.

Requirements:

1. Strong communication skills and phone etiquette

2. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

3. Bilingual is not required, but definitely a PLUS

4. Must have reliable transportation

5. Must be willing to travel up to 15-25 miles a day

6. Ability to communicate well and work in a team/solo environment

Successful candidates may have previous backgrounds in real estate, retail, sales, leasing, hospitality, or customer service roles with the ability to engage with different personalities.
