Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Overview:Our client is currently looking for a LCSW, LMFT, or LCPP to join the team to support multiple intensive outpatient programs in the mental health space. The primary focus will be focused within intake, however, the role will also support the three programs with therapy. These programs are part of one of the largest healthcare providers in Northern CA. Description:The primary purpose of the Psychiatric Intake Coordinator is to facilitate and coordinate the admissions process for Behavior Healthcare Outpatient Services. The Intake Coordinator is the primary contact person for referrals to and from physicians, agencies, hospitals, individual professionals and private individuals. This position facilitates accessibility to the hospital for physicians, agencies and patients. It is the primary liaison with physicians, patients, unit staff, Admissions, Financial, Emergency Departments, utilization review and case management for psychiatric patient admission determinations. The Intake Coordinator may provide psychiatric assessments prior to, and during, the admissions process, under the supervision of the Manager of Outpatient Services. Requirements:

Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or other related field

LCSW, LCPP, or LMFT

2+ years working in behavioral health
