Responsibilities entail working on 1-2 distinct projects at a given time and conducting required analysis by doing research, handling and manipulating data and ultimately communicating findings in a verbal and written format.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Specific activities may change from time to time.Serve as key thought partner responsible for helping to improve the overall strategic planning process and guide the execution of top priority initiatives.

Conduct comparison research to measure LightStream performance to established and emerging competitors, specifically in regard to product set, client experience, and growth.

Conduct analysis utilizing database and spreadsheet tools (including model building, market sizing and financial analysis) to explore return on future investment opportunities, track allocation of investment dollars used vs. predicted, examine potential economics of opportunities with corporate ventures or mergers and acquisitions and analyze the economics of asset securitization transactions.

Communicate results of analysis and findings of research, both verbally and written, with leadership team.

Ensure LightStream’s strategy and priorities are communicated effectively to key stakeholders across LightStream and Truist.

Build relationships with colleagues in bank’s consumer businesses (lending, deposits, payments, wealth and insurance).

QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. 2-4 years of relevant analytical experience

Graduate of strategy consulting (McKinsey/BCG/Olivery Wyman/Bain) or investing banking or sell side research training.

Analytically strong, creative, smart with good work ethic

Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

High level of adaptability; respond appropriately and competently to the demands of work challenges when confronted with change, ambiguity, adversity, and other pressures

Take high degree of personal ownership and pride

History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done

Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business

Ability to challenge conventional thinking and ask thought provoking questions.
