Line Cook

We are looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our team at a new café in the heart of Woodside, CA.

The Little Store is a beloved neighborhood café and flower shop serving thoughtfully prepared food in a warm, welcoming space. We are currently seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our small but mighty kitchen team.

This is an incredible opportunity for a creative cook to work alongside a collaborative team and shape a unique breakfast and lunch experience in a beautiful setting.

About the Position -

Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards

Work alongside the kitchen team to produce delicious, seasonal menu items

Ensure proper food storage, labelling and rotation

Follow food safety and sanitation procedures

Collaborate with culinary team to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Who You Are -

Minimum of 3+ years previous experience cooking in a restaurant kitchen

Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and the ability to multi-task

Must be self-disciplined and reliable

Passion for cooking seasonal delicious meals

A positive attitude, excellent communication and a team player with a creative and collaborative approach to cooking

Knowledge of food preparation, meal planning, and expediting

Must be Serv-Safe certified

Must be available to work mornings/afternoons and some weekends

Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
