Description We are seeking for a LOA & Benefits Specialist to join our team in the Non-Profit industry, located in Los Angeles, California. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As a LOA & Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of leave administration, implementing safety and security programs, managing workers' compensation claims and benefits, and serving as a point of contact for all leave matters. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of leave administration including drafting and tracking requests and coordinating with various stakeholders. Implement strategies to support our agency's safety and security programs, ensuring a secure work environment for all employees. Manage workers' compensation claims and coordinate benefits for employees on leave. Provide tactical support for our Ergonomics Program. Act as the point of contact for leave matters, conduct agency-wide safety training, and communicate essential safety-related information to staff. Utilize skills in ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Cisco Webex Meetings, CRM, Auditing, Benefit Functions, Claim Administration, Cobra Administration, Communication, Leave Administration, Benefits Administration, and Compensation & Benefits. Requirements Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now Experience with Ceridian and Cisco Webex Meetings platforms Familiarity with CRM systems Proven skills in Auditing and Benefit Functions Experience in Claim Administration and Cobra Administration Excellent Communication skills Knowledge in Leave Administration and Benefits Administration Solid understanding of Compensation & Benefits Prior experience in a non-profit organization is preferred Relevant certification or degree in related field Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
