Job description

We are seeking a talented Project Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing the architectural aspects of various projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively. We are a small firm that specializes in residential remodels and custom homes throughout Ventura County.

Duties

- Seeking someone who strives to learn and become a loyal, long-term employee

- Manage and lead architectural projects from conception to completion

- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and objectives

- Develop architectural plans and construction documents

- Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and construction estimating

- Coordinate with construction teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately

- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality of work

- Participate in negotiations with contractors and vendors

Requirements

- Must be able to work in our office in Ventura Ca.

- Must have minim of 5 year Revit experience.

- Architecture license in state of California

- Proven experience in project management and construction management

- Proficiency in drafting software and design tools

- Strong knowledge of budgeting and project scheduling

- Ability to negotiate effectively with various stakeholders

- Experience in renovating existing structures is a plus

Compensation is based on experience level.
