Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Logistics Clerk role in the industry of warehouse receiving/shipping and material handling. Located in San Jose, California, this role will entail managing and coordinating various logistics operations within the workplace.Responsibilities Operate computer programs and ERP solutions for effective logistics management. Utilize CRM and IBM AS/400 to handle customer service responsibilities. Engage in Logistix and About Time for efficient material handling duties. Answer inbound calls, providing excellent communication and customer service. Execute billing functions accurately and promptly. Coordinate shipping and receiving operations within the warehouse. Maintain accurate records of logistical activities and transactions. Address and resolve customer inquiries related to logistics. Ensure the proper handling of materials within the warehouse. Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate actions when necessary. Requirements Familiarity with computer programs is essential for this role Proficiency in CRM and ERP solutions is required Knowledge of IBM AS/400 and Logistix programs is beneficial Experience with About Time software would be advantageous Must be capable of answering inbound calls professionally and efficiently Ability to handle billing functions accurately and responsibly Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary Exceptional customer service skills are vital No minimum years of experience required, but familiarity with logistics is a plus.
