Logistics Coordinator

Description We are in search of a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Encino, California. This role centers around the management of logistics and supply chain operations in our company. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a fundamental role in the efficient coordination of logistics functions, with a focus on improving the business systems and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Assist the supply chain department in managing logistics operations. Utilize business systems like Cargowise and Netsuite for logistics management. Process customer inquiries, maintain accurate customer records, and resolve any issues. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status. Improve ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions for better logistics coordination. Implement 'About Time' software for efficient time tracking and management. Oversee billing functions to ensure accurate and timely invoicing. Maintain effective communication with customers and internal teams. Handle customs procedures to ensure smooth transportation of goods. Deliver excellent customer service, addressing customer needs and concerns promptly. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role Proficiency in business systems and CRM Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions Experience with About Time software Understanding of billing functions in a logistics context Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong customer service skills, with the ability to resolve issues efficiently Knowledge of customs procedures in a logistics setting Experience with NetSuite software Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and multitasking abilities High level of attention to detail and accuracy Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field is preferred Willingness to undergo training as required.
