Looking for a full time Warehouse Assistant

The Warehouse Assistant helps implement, coordinate, transport and execute all warehouse needs in regards to orders and project needs.

Essential Functions:

1. Ability to drive a delivery vehicle under all kinds of conditions (heavy traffic, weather, dense cities, etc.)

2. Ability to operate, and certification if necessary, any relevant warehouse equipment such as a forklift or pallet jack, and use a ladder up to 12 ft.

3. Sorts, organizes, and prepares materials for project needs

4. Ability to process paperwork and receive/return shipments

5. Ability to problem solve, multi-task and plan.

6. Communicate accurate inventory

7. Strong computer skills (Excel, Word) and understanding of company systems (Filemaker, Wrike)

8. Work closely with the warehouse manager and stay ahead of schedule and support project needs

9. Check in deliveries, labeling, and ensuring accurate documentation

10. Must possess a good driving record, have a current drivers license, and be a licensed driver for a minimum of 5 years

Non-Essential Functions:

1. Versed in the safety aspects of material handling and proper lifting

2. Ability to sit stand, reach, crouch, climb for extended periods of time; ability to lift up to 75lbs.

3. Willingness to be self-managed and assume responsibility.

4. Must be able to work in a warehouse environment (varied temps, sometimes loud, etc, stand on concrete for extended periods of time)

5. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of the organization; basic math skills

6. Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

7. An interest in learning or has already a basic knowledge of the A/V industry is a strong plus.

8. 1-3 year of experience in a warehouse, inventory, or logistics support role, preferably in the electrical, data, security, or construction industry.

9. High school diploma or equivalent preferred

10. 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse, inventory, or logistics support role, preferably in the electrical, data, security, or construction industry
