Please feel free to call me at and please drop an updated resume to Role: Senior MacOS Developer Location: Cupertino, CA Duration: Long Term contract Responsibilities: Candidate should be self-directed with a proven track record of accomplishing complex engineering and organizational goals requiring customer research and extensive collaboration with external teams while requiring minimal oversight.- Highly motivated to update development skills and research tools and frameworks that can improve efficiency.
- Cross-team collaboration is fundamental to the role, so communication skills should be excellent.
- Candidate may be responsible for multiple software projects, and should be comfortable balancing competing priorities and able to shift focus when new requirements arise.
- 10+ years SDE and/or SDET experience
- 5+ years developing native MacOS applications with Objective-C or Swift
- Key tools and frameworks: XCTest, CoreData, CoreAudio, NSURLSession, CI/CD automation tools (e.g. BuddyBuild, Jenkins, etc)
- Web App Development, particularly using React and Python Flask.
- Numeric computing and data visualization
- Python and scientific frameworks (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, etc)
- Familiarity with acoustic engineering terminology
- Porting software from other object oriented platforms, particularly NodeJS and Angular
- Experience building professional applications with complex business logic.
- Familiarity with alternatives to MVC, such as MVVM, Functional Reactive Programming (e.g. ReactiveCocoa, RxSwift), React/Redux, etc.
- Familiarity with software commonly used in hardware engineering (MatLab, LabView, SoundCheck, JMP, etc.)
