Mainframe Software Developer ( High Level Assembler )

Pay Range $125,000 to $170,000 Depending on experience Job Description: Multi-skilled individual wanted to develop/maintain a suite of stable mainframe software products authored in HLASM and to interface from a technical support perspective with customers having questions about their operation and features. This individual would possess the skills needed to track down and correct reported bugs, implement occasional requested enhancements, and build/distribute new product releases on an annual basis. Mainframe environment is z/OS, z/VM, z/VSE and Linux on Z. Work hours flexible but should be consistent on a daily basis. Though quite rare, 24/7 availability for critical/high-priority issues is needed. On-site 3 days per week with 2 days remote. Strong IBM HLASM skills needed. REXX, JCL and sysprog/sysadmin skills helpful but not required.
