We are offering a $1000 sign-on bonus. We have an open position for first shift. This position pays up to $36.94/hr, depending on experience.

This facility operates five or six days a week and produces Pepperoni and Salami.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for maintenance of facility and repair of manufacturing equipment while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Applicants will be considered for a General Mechanic opening in Maintenance Department for executing maintenance and repair work associated with CMMS work orders including repairing line equipment (mixers, grinders, clipper stuffers, slicers, labelers, multivacs, etc);

pre-check and setup of equipment; cutting, welding electrical work and other duties as assigned.

Shift start: 7:00AM Shift length: 8 hours Monday-Friday, some weekends and evenings based on business needs.

Minimum 6 months of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent combination of maintenance technical school and experience.

Must be able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level between 40 – 60 pounds repeatedly.

Must be willing to tolerate temperatures of 35 degrees or below for entire shift, be able to walk and stand on concrete floor for the shift duration and able to follow both verbal and written instructions. This bonus will be paid out in two separate installments (half of the total amount after 6 months and the other half will be paid after 1 year of employment) and is based on meeting company expectations regarding performance and conduct.
