Maintenance Mechanic I/II

We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Mechanic I/II who performs skilled work in maintaining water reclamation plant equipment. Inspects, identifies, diagnoses, replaces, and repairs worn and malfunctioning equipment; and performs related work as required. Performs mechanical duties ranging in responsibility from preventative maintenance and repair activities on wastewater pumps and pumping facilities

Troubleshoot equipment failures

Perform various technical tasks relative to the assigned area of responsibility.

Participates in classroom, online, and on-the-job training.

Coordinate, field supervise, and provide technical knowledge to crews of maintenance workers, equipment operators, or service workers engaged in making complex electrical and mechanical repairs

Install equipment in the municipal water/wastewater treatment plant, lift, pump, and storm water stations.

I - $41.01/hr - $49.86/hr or II - $45.27/hr - $55.03/hr
