Maintenance Technician for Apartment Community

Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in quality work? We’re looking for a dependable, skilled, and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep our apartment community running smoothly.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in general maintenance, especially apartment turns.

What You’ll Be Doing:

           Complete apartment turns quickly and efficiently, ensuring units are move-in ready

           Handle plumbing issues (e.g. unclogging drains, fixing leaks, repairing toilets and faucets)

           Perform flooring repairs (tile, vinyl, and minor carpet work)

           Diagnose and repair household appliances (stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, etc.)

           Paint interior walls, trim, and touch-ups with attention to detail

           Assist with routine property maintenance, including common areas and grounds

           Respond to work orders in a timely, professional manner

           Perform preventative maintenance to avoid costly repairs

           Communicate effectively with management and residents

           Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

           Minimum 2 years of experience in property or facilities maintenance

           Must have strong knowledge in:

           Plumbing

           Appliance repair

           Painting

           Flooring repair

           General handyman work and apartment turnover procedures

           Must provide your own tools

           Must have a valid driver’s license

           Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

           Must be dependable, punctual, and professional

           Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical demands of the job

           On-call availability may be required for emergency maintenance and able to work on weekends when needed.
