Maintenance Technician Needed

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a 50+ unit apartment complex.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining all units, grounds, and common areas. This individual will work directly under the supervision of the On-Site Property Manager and perform all necessary repairs, preventive maintenance, and property upkeep to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained community for residents.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a multi-family or apartment setting (50+ units preferred)

- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and painting

- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

- Ability to understand and follow directions accurately

- Responsible, dependable, and organized work habits

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with residents and staff

- Own tools a plus

- Availability for after-hours emergencies preferred

Responsibilities:

- Respond promptly to and complete daily maintenance requests and work orders

- Turn vacant units and make them move-in ready within required time-frames

- Perform routine preventive maintenance on units, systems, and equipment

- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of all common areas and maintenance facilities

- Identify and report safety hazards or potential maintenance issues to the On-Site Manager

- Ensure compliance with all safety and company policies

- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and inventory levels
